Mag fakes Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston “intimate encounter”

“Brad & Jen Together Again Behind Angie’s Back!” exclaims a Star magazine cover about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston that promises details of an “intimate encounter in Brad’s private office” and “calls, texts & e-mails.”

Before getting into the alleged encounter, the story starts with an illogical quote from a so-called “insider,” who says, “Now that they’re both in the same city again, Brad and Jen have been e-mailing and texting each other.”

Since when do people have to be “in the same city” to e-mail and text each other”?

If only that were the worst part of the Star story…

The article continues, “At the end of May, the former husband and wife organized a face-to-face meeting at Brad’s Plan B Entertainment offices in Beverly Hills – all under the guise of talking about potential projects.”

Note: The Star doesn’t give a specific date for this alleged meeting.

The tabloid also tries to cover its manufactured story by adding that Pitt had Aniston stop by his office at a time when he knew “he would be on his own,” and no other co-workers would be there.

That’s a very convenient excuse for why no one actually saw Aniston and Pitt together in his office.

However, the Star once again defies logic by creating a scenario in which there weren’t any witnesses, and yet the mag has a blow-by-blow account of everything they said and did.

For instance, according to the supermarket rag, their alone time began after “Brad grabbed beers from the kitchen fridge and sat down close to Jen on a couch in the conference room.”

The tabloid’s “insider” then relates how “They started talking about work and their travels,” “about Jen becoming a parent,” and how Pitt should stop by her home, “have some margaritas and check out everything she’s done to remodel it.”

Not only does Star‘s supposed “insider” claim to know that Aniston “wonders if someday [she and Pitt] might get back together,” but that same person also somehow knows Angelina Jolie always “worries that Brad is going to… meet up with Jen on the sly.”

So let’s get this straight: Two of the most photographed people in the world have a secret meeting, although the Star can’t even say when, and not one paparazzo sees them walking in or out of Pitt’s office building?

And not only that, but Pitt makes sure no one is in his office at the time of the secret rendezvous, and yet the Star knows everything they did and said?

Show of hands: Who believes a single word of the Star‘s cover story?

We don’t either.

When contacted, a rep for Aniston told Gossip Cop, “It never happened” and called the article “a complete fabrication.”
