The overall media coverage is 90% Team Anistonized because this was the tabloid’s creation and the cycle of spin continues. That is f–ed up what you said, considering most of the misportrayals against Brad & Angelina are negative, destructive, operates on misconceptions that make them wrongly hated, and its foundation is based on a lie which the media continues to treat as fact to keep the mileage going. Any decent observer who didn’t jump on that corrupt bandwagon and didn’t drink the kool-aid can see that.

They have really crossed the line into distortion, fabricating quotations, editing interviews, and all sorts of inflammatory depictions wrongly against Pitt-Jolie to make money and influence people who became addicted to this cycle of slander.

Their relationship with PEOPLE is not closer than any other celebrities. People is not as nasty and deceitful as the others, but they have also circulated articles favoring Aniston many times as well as circulating the accusation that was the cause of this which clearly shows a slant towards Aniston. They have even had full-style cover promoting the Team Aniston spin and dozens of articles that contradict what you said. The Fanistons just ignore that and also ignore how Aniston’s PR people always get her traction with that magazine as well whether be her latest showmance or her public appearances, and everytime she throws a party or attends a benefit. Quit with the hypocrisy. Both Pitt-Jolie and Aniston have gotten coverage but it has definitely been more in Aniston’s favor overall like with most of the magazines who paint her with this false image. The editor of People has even made digs against Pitt-Jolie.

In fact, People is the magazine, MOST celebrities provide exclusives to because they don’t have much of a choice. It is the mainstream celebrity magazine and they are more even-handed than other publications. People tends to get the most exclusives.

If they weren’t seeking attention they would have never announced an engagement and the ring designer who did give lots and lots of interviews would have had to sign a confidentiality agreement like everyone else who comes into their orbit. Angelina wouldn’t have done the engagement ring pap walk outside of the Roosevelt hotel, a building that is known for having a private celebrity entrance.

Not to mention they would have never put a price tag on their children’s privacy by selling pictures of their kids to People magazine. In Europe they have strict laws against publishing photos of celebrity children. I find it curious that BRANDgelina have never even attempted to pass a law like that here. Not once, even though we already have existing laws preventing the media from publishing photos of underage criminals.

And private couples do not talk about their sex lives in interviews or publish photos of their children at home or use them in Vanity Fair photos shoots. Private people do not publish naked pictures of themselves taking showers as Brad did with Angelina when he was promoting Benjamin Button. These two are the ultimate famewh0res.

And btw, most of what I just wrote I got from three reputable news sources. The New York Times wrote an extensive article about the famewh0ring called “The Media Manipulation of Angelina Jolie. The New Yorker did a huge piece on the real reason celebrities use charity work in an article titled “Looking Good” . Even The New Yorker thinks Jolie became a philanthropist because she needed an image makeover. Her publicists set up the first photo at the first orphanage she ever went to because having a crazy reputation was causing problems for her in getting work. Brad became a philanthropist because the only way you get get away with treating America’s favorite friend the way he did is to take a sudden interest in helping the poor. This is from the New Yorker, not me. And New York magazine did a piece about the economy of fame. There is an entire section on Brad and Angelina and how their relationship is what they are really selling. Their relationship is a corporate brand at this point and the kids are an extension of that brand. This is why we got the Kardashian style engagement roll-out. Every brand needs a new thing every once in awhile. Even Apple rolls out a new iphone every year.

Now I’ll wait for you to tell me these reputable news sources are in the tank for Aniston or jealous haters or that I must be crazy even though this comes from people who have won dozens of Pulitzer prizes. His humanitarian work with Bono began prior to meeting Jolie. His philanthropic work is far more serious, invested, and has had far more of a global impact when he chooses to help third world countries as well a rehabilitate New Orleans. Brad Pitt becoming an activist was no stretch and that would have happened regardless.
