Brad Pitt, Edward Norton “Fight Club” Sequel Claim NOT True
RadarOnline writes, “Fans of the iconic movie Fight Club may be in a for a very big surprise — if Brad Pitt gets his way!” According to the webloid, Pitt is “determined to convince his old costar and pal Edward Norton to revive their mega-hit with an exciting new sequel.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Ed’s much happier with his low-key life these days and he doesn’t need the money, so it was a big effort for Brad to get him to even consider it.”
The suppose source, however, argues that “the timing couldn’t be better” because a comic book sequel was published last year. Now the site claims film “studios are jumping all over it, desperate to bring back the lucrative movie for another round.” The alleged tipster adds, “Ed’s become a totally chilled-out guy these days and even does yoga in his spare time, but Brad’s at least got him on board for talks with [director] David Fincher about how they could make it happen.”
Not so fast. While fans might like to see a follow-up film, there’s no such project actually in the works. A rep for Norton exclusively confirms to Gossip Cop the RadarOnline sequel report is untrue.
