Brad Pitt has a special attachment to New Orleans, so it’s no surprise that he seems to harbor animosity for those responsible for the Gulf Coast oil spill that’s devastated the region.

“I was never for the death penalty before,” Pitt says in Spike Lee‘s latest documentary, If God Is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise. “I am willing to look at it again.”

In this follow-up to Lee’s 2006 Hurricane Katrina film, When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, Pitt reportedly doesn’t hide his disgust for BP.

The documentary airs tonight on HBO.
