Pitt, who has already racked up more than 100,000 followers on his verified account, was reportedly banned from the country following his starring turn in 1997′s Seven Years in Tibet, which was critical of the Chinese government.

A rep for Pitt has not yet confirmed when he plans on traveling to the Asian country or the purpose of the visit.

Has a rep for Pitt the confirmed that this is his account? Twitter in the past has verified accounts that were not real. Maybe the same occurred under this Weibo account.

  • Seriously

THAT was his first message? A 50 year old using “Yup” AND forgetting he’s actually banned from the China. I thought he was all deep now. Still sounds like a complete stoner idiot.

No the idiot is you for believing this. Gossipcop needs to keep abreast of current info. The tweet is fake.

but hey gave the haters like you something to pick on. you don’t need much do you.

So far, no confirmation that it’s really him. Sina Weibo is a Chinese government site, so if it’s really him then there’s a price on his head and he’s a dead man. Likely, it’s a phoney account. For his sake, it better be fake.
