Brad Pitt Named New Face of Chanel No. 5

Brad Pitt is an actor, father, activist — and now, a Chanel model!

Pitt has signed on to be the face of the brand’s iconic No. 5 fragrance, the company announced on Wednesday.

It’s the first time a man’s been tapped to represent the fragrance.

Pitt will reportedly shoot his first ad in London this week.

    You are hilarious. Angelina Jolie donates 1/3 of her income to charities (aka. 3 million+ per movie). Not to mention the time she spends trying to help people in other countries. You are right, really greedy.

    Just because someone says they donate 1/3 of their income doesn’t mean they actually do. According to The New Yorker they made almost $35 million off the baby photos and despite claiming they were giving it all away, ended up giving just $13 million away. What happened to the other $22 million?

    Stop believing EVERYTHING these two say. Remember they were going to have 13 kids. They were going to take a lot of time off. They were going to retire. One minute they never cheated, the next minute they can’t wait to show the kids the movie where they fell in love. They’ve said a lot of crap over the years that wasn’t true.

    Jolie hasn’t even been honest about why she became charitable in the first place. She didn’t wake up one morning and decide to selflessly help people. Her managers told her she was having trouble getting work because people thought she was crazy and she needed an image makeover. The managers are the ones who set up the first photo-ps at the orphanage in Cambodia. You can read all about this in the New Yorker piece titled: “Looking Good” from a couple of months ago.

    I thought they made $13M from the twin’s photo. Where did the New Yorker come up with $22M. Also, why should we NOT believe that the money has gone to charity like they said it did? There is a school and hospital in Cambodia; a school and hospital in Vietnam and a school and hospital in Ethopia that was built and is funded by the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. They have donated several millions to Doctors Without Borders, along with other charities. These are facts. No Foundation gives away EVERY PENNY. How could they function if they did that. I have not read the New Yorker article and I don’t know where they got their information but their tax records are public and show how much and to whom money was given. (The 2010 tax year records should be out by now.) You can look up their tax records but it will cost you because no government agency is going to do anything for free. And P.S.: Bill O’Reilly and Fox News have looked into the records of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation for several years in order to do an expose of it but found NOTHING to write about!!

BTW, I read the New Yorker article and you are a BIG LIAR. The New Yorker Stated the money ALL went to charity after Trever Nielson’s fee was paid. There was NOTHING in that article suggesting the Jolie-Pitt’s did ANYTHING WRONG. And you LIED about Angelina having trouble getting work and trying to repair her image…per her mangers suggestion. Yes, I hope EVERYONE reads the New Yorker article…so they can see the VILE lies you told.

    I agree with ” You are a LIAR” and “mslewis”! Brad and Angie are the least greedy people out there. If you, WTF, knew anything, and kept up on the entertainment news, you would know that!
    MY opinion to which I am entitled……Thank you Chanel for offering Brad this opportunity and thank you Brad for accepting it! I can’t wait to see Brad’s beautiful face in the TV and print ads! And for those who are going to say he isn’t handsome anymore….you must be under 30, because believe me, if a 48 year old man who looked like that walked by me….I would feel so privileged to have seen him up close! I admire Brad so much for aging gracefully and naturally and not having any surgical reconstruction. I sure wouldn’t want to see him looking like Kenny Rogers!
