CLAIM: “7-Year-Itch” Threatens to Split Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Truth rating: 0

This one’s a laugh.

In Touch magazine is wondering whether Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting the “7-year itch” and could be “the next couple to split.”

Of course, the tabloid has spent what seems like 7 years writing story after story, week after week, about the allegedly imminent demise of Jolie and Pitt’s relationship.

In Touch claimed they were on the brink of separation back in 2009, and the mag has since repeated the same rumor dozens of times, regardless of the facts.

Here we are again.

A so-called “source” tells the tab that Pitt and Jolie have “fallen victim to the dreaded seven-year itch (which just killed Heidi Klum and Seal’s marriage and destroyed Brad’s relationship with Jen Aniston!).”

Wait a minute.

In Touch is now using the completely unrelated Klum-Seal split as an indicator that Jolie and Pitt are about to call it quits?

“They’re tired and the passion has faded,” explains the mag’s source.

Actually, it seems like In Touch is just too “tired” to bother coming up with new angles on celebrity news.

As Gossip Cop has reported throughout the tabloid’s endless campaign to break up Jolie and Pitt, and as a source close to the couple assures us once again, they are perfectly “happy” in their relationship.

In Touch should pick another “itch” to scratch.

another lame lie from in “out of ” touch magazine

How many celeb breakups and rehab scandals have they missed because they are so focused on Angelina? When a big celeb scandal hits the web somehow Angelina is still the star they choose to put on the cover of the tabloids.

    What, again?

  • laura

They all seem to choose a celebrity couple to pick on. Us Weekly’s is Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. They’ve had him cheating with more people over the years but have never offered a single shred of evidence other then *sources are telling them* that he’s ever one time cheated. In Touch picks on Angie and Brad. It’s all so ridiculous.

The only “seven year itch” this couple has is to get married. Next week’s headline will be about either a soon to be happening wedding or one of them getting cold feet. These tabloids are good at one thing though–re-cycling. So congratulations in touch, you are good for the environment.

that’s how the tabloids work always has been. it’s not worth lining a bird cage with most of the writters at those magazines are illiterate sons of bitches who can’t even get simple info right half the time

Was Brad even with Jen for seven years? And didn’t Seal and Heidi celebrate SIX years together last year? Whatever . . . I guess the OuttaTouch “writers” were just sitting around having a drink when one of them said “Hey, Brad and Angelina have been together for seven years this year. Let’s make something up about the ‘seven year itch’” and everybody got excited because they had completely run out of Angelina and Brad stories. They probably high-fived each other and ran to their computers to see if they could find their usual sources and friends to help with the story. See what they came up with? Brilliant, right?

    mslewis – that was funny.

Every time these trashy rags print ridiculous, nonsensical lies my comment is love you angie and brad – great couple, great humanitarians, great parents. You’re the best!

Ms. Lewis that was hilarious. So do they pay every “source” they quote. if so, I can make up stuff too.

7-year itch. I think for next year I will volunteer as US magazine’s “reliable source” and provide them with a Brad-Angelina “8-year dilemma”, the year after that, “End-of-9-lives” union, and the year after that, “No-longer-a-perfect-10″. I’ll have three more years to think about and concoct an imagined separation line for the 11th, 12th, and 13th year. I have time on my hands.

This tabloid is just awful! They love trying to destroy relationships. It’s a shame that celebrities have to contend with this sort of thing.
