Bobby Flay And Stephanie March Finalize Divorce After Bitter Split — STATEMENT
Bobby Flay and Stephanie March have finalized their divorce, three months after their bitter split.
As Gossip Cop has reported, Flay and March’s separation after 10 years of marriage was announced in April. Their opposing camps went on to very publicly feud with each other as terms of their divorce settlement were being negotiated. Flay was accused of having an affair with his assistant, and his lawyer released a pointed statement essentially blaming March’s side for the rumor, and alleged it was being spread in order to void their prenuptial agreement.
More recently, in June, a plane with a banner reading “CHEATER” flew overhead in Los Angeles as Flay was accepting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Gossip Cop has also corrected false tabloid reports linking the chef to fellow Food Network personality Giada de Laurentiis, as well as January Jones, in the wake of the breakup. But now Flay and March are revealing they’ve made peace with each other.
“We have come to an amicable divorce settlement,” the stars jointly say in a statement. “We look forward to putting this difficult time behind us and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward.”
According to TMZ, Flay ultimately agreed to give March the additional money she was requesting, as he didn’t want to take their divorce case to trial. This was Flay’s third marriage, and March’s first. They have no children together.
