Bobby Brown Performs For First Time Since Bobbi Kristina Death (VIDEO)
Bobby Brown is back on stage less than a month after the death of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina. The still-grieving dad was greeted by thunderous applause when he made a surprise appearance at the Hollywood Bowl Sunday evening to perform with longtime friend Macy Gray. See video below.
“Thank you for all your prayers, everybody,” the New Edition singer told the sellout crowd after performing a duet of Gray’s 2014 hit “Real Love.” The event marked Brown’s most public appearance since laying Bobbi Kristina to rest beside her mother, Whitney Houston, in New Jersey on August 3. Bobbi Kristina had passed away on July 26 at age 22.
Brown has performed sporadically since his first-born child was discovered unconscious and then hospitalized in a coma in January. As Gossip Cop previously reported, the singer struggled to get through a July 4 concert in Atlanta, often forgetting song lyrics and dance moves. It is unclear if or when Brown will reunite on stage with New Edition. No dates are currently scheduled according to Ticketmaster.
