Bobbi Kristina: Bobby Brown and Pat Houston Appointed As Co-Guardians
Bobby Brown and Pat Houston have both been awarded co-guardianship of Bobbi Kristina Brown. The family made the announcement in a statement on Friday, saying, “We are delighted to inform the public that the court has appointed Bobby Brown and Pat Houston as co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown (‘Krissi’).”
The statement continued, “Both Mr. Brown and Ms. Houston are jointly responsible for decisions related to Krissi’s care and medical needs. Both parties are delighted with the court’s decision and are working harmoniously to ensure Krissi receives the best possible medical care. We are appreciative of the manner in which Judge Jeryl Debra Rosh handled this matter.”
Both Brown and Houston appeared in court on Thursday to hear the judge’s decision. Attorney Bedelia Hargrove was assigned as the conservator of Bobbi Kristina, and “is responsible for Krissi’s assets, including her likeness, rights and legal claims.” As Gossip Cop previously reported, Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a filled bathtub at her Georgia home in January. She spent two months at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, before being transferred to an Atlanta-area rehab center. The 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston is still on life support, but is said to be breathing on her own.
