Bobbi Kristina Dead: Whitney Houston’s Mom Cissy And Brothers To Inherit $20 Million Fortune
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s grandmother Cissy Houston and uncles on her mother Whitney Houston’s side of the family are set to inherit at least $20 million in wake of the 22-year-old’s tragic death. According to a will left behind by Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina received a portion of the late singer’s fortune when she turned 21, but the remainder of the money wasn’t set to be released to her until she turned 25.
Because Bobbi Kristina sadly died before her 25th birthday, the money will now be passed on to Houston’s mom and brothers Gary and Michael. The will also stated that one of the beneficiaries was her “husband, Robert B. Brown,” but since the two divorced in 2007, several years before Houston’s death, Bobby Brown will not inherit anything.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Bobbi Kristina died on Sunday, almost six months after she was rushed to an Atlanta-area hospital after being found face-down and unconscious in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home. At the time of her death, the Brown and Houston families released a statement saying Bobbi Kristina was “finally at peace in the arms of God,” and “we want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
