technically she’s always had both parents last names though traditionally children do only get the fathers name unless they legally change it at 18 to the mothers name/maiden name. as for example Patricia Ann Reagan did in 1970 to Davis her mother Nancy’s adoptive last name. Bobby maybe talented but he’s no better than a sewer rat what he did at the funeral was disrespectful

There was no reason at all for Bobbi Brown not being properly seated. Who treats someone like that at a funeral??? At a time like that people come together! It’s not like he is a stranger. It’s Shameful that even at a time like that her FAMILY couldn’t be civil. They had anger and hatred in their souls!!! (i guess it would be “easier” to put the blame on someone else right!?? How was the funeral? I ask that because obviously you were there.Oh wait you weren’t and neither was I.I know what the media has reported and we both know that what they report is not always the gospel truth.None of us will ever know what happened with these two or what the real situation is between this child and her father.We speculate and assume.The media says it is to ditance herself from him.There have been many things said about the mother and the father so for people to assume it is because of his reputation is ridiclous.It could be that she was closer to her mother and changing her name to Houston is a dedication to her.It could be for career reasons.We really don’t know.Futher more people keep talking about the funeral he brought his kids which Whitney helped raise and thought of as hers so wouldn’t it make sense that they wanted to be there and say goodbye.I think that would have been expected but if we are to believe what the media is saying it wasn’t because there were to many people only thinking about themselves instead of what Whitney would have wanted.As for this BB and his daughter I hope they work things out outside the public eye and without interference from those who have their own issues with him.BB & WH both had problems and people can continue to say he was her downfall but truth is this was not a child that had to be lead around by the hand this was a grown woman who had problems before him and didn’t deal with them so she had those same problems after him.Partly it was peoples perceptions about how she should be and ought to be and never let her be herself.Yes she was famous and had a gift but at the end of the day she was human and couldn’t live up to the expectations that people put on her to be perfect.She was flawed,he was flawed and they lived a flawed life and no one can hang all the blame on him and it doesn’t mean he should lose his daughter.I hope they work it out and everybody else just needs to butt out.Last you say it was ego.Ego would have been staying and defying but he gave Whitney respect and didn’t cause the drama it could have turned into.He paid his respects and left and didn’t make it about what he wanted.h showed love and respect for her and his daughter.I take it you would have thrown a loud hissy fit and that would have been more appropriate in your eyes.When you have people purposely fighting against you sometimes the best thing you can do is remove yourself from the situation to make it better.

Thank you!! I have been saying that people need to stop blaming Bobby Brown for Whitney’s drug habits. She had her own problems that only became public when she married him. Yes, we don’t know what really happened between this family expect what the media wants us to know. It’s always made him look bad & her the one who was a good girl. There was a lot of pressure put on her. Her cousin is Dionne Warwick, her mother was a popular gospel singer & she was expected to act a certain way.
I do hope that Bobbi Kristina & Bobby can have a relationship without the influence from outside sources; like her mom’s family & the media.

Bobbi Kristina has her own talent, she won’t need to live off of anyone’s fame but her own, that is if she decided to stay in the spotlight

actually her father tried to reach out to her but security wouldnt let him i think she need to love her father and leave her name the way her mother gave it to her. thats what whitney wanted her name to be so leave it that way.
