Bobbi Kristina Brown Bathtub Scare: Source Says It’s “No Coincidence,” While Instagram Shows Her Happy Hours Earlier
It’s “no coincidence” Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub before being rushed to the hospital and revived on Saturday, a source close to her family tells “ET.” The alarming incident, just before the three-year anniversary of the February 2012 bathtub death of Brown’s mother, Whitney Houston, comes as the 21-year-old deals with issues that are “a lot deeper than everyone can see,” according to the “ET” source.
Police are investigating what exactly happened in Brown’s residence in Roswell, Georgia on Saturday. She was found unresponsive in the bathroom by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend, who called 911 and started CPR on Brown. Cops and paramedics arrived on the scene and performed “life-saving measures” on Brown before transporting her to North Fulton Hospital, where she currently remains.
While Brown has struggled in the aftermath of her famous mother’s shocking death on the eve of the 2012 Grammys, what’s not clear is the depth of her despair, or whether Saturday’s scare was tied directly to her emotional health. Just hours before she was found in the bathtub, Brown shared an upbeat post on Instagram, giving no indication that she intended to do herself harm. The pic was captioned, “YAYYYY :) finally my famBAM!!! @dmannnnnnn” (see below). Gossip Cop will have updates.
