Bobbi Kristina Brown Funeral And Burial Plans Revealed After Body Released To Family
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral and burial plans have been revealed after the Fulton County Medical Examiner released the 22-year-old’s body to her family on Tuesday. Brown’s remains are currently being held at an Atlanta-area funeral home. Gossip Cop has learned the ceremony will be held on Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. The burial will then take place Monday at Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey, and Brown is set to be interred in a plot next to her mother Whitney Houston.
As Gossip Cop reported, the coroner performed a preliminary autopsy and released the findings on Monday, stating that there was “no obvious underlying cause of death” and “no significant injuries.”
Brown’s death was investigated by homicide police, and her boyfriend Nick Gordon was reportedly a possible suspect. A lawsuit filed against Gordon in June alleged he physically abused Brown shortly before her death, but according to the coroner’s findings, there’s currently no evidence of foul play.
As Gossip Cop noted, Brown died on Sunday in an Atlanta-area hospice, nearly six months after she was found face-down and unconscious in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home. Brown was the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
