Bobbi Kristina Brown: Cops Call Bathtub Incident “Drowning”
Bobbi Kristina Brown drowned in her bathtub, according to a police report filed after cops and paramedics raced to her Georgia home on Saturday. The official report says officials responded to a “drowning” at the Roswell residence after Brown’s husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found the 21-year-old unresponsive in the tub and called 911.
Brown was discovered face down in the tub, which contained water. Emergency personnel were able to get Brown breathing again by the time she was transported to North Fulton Hospital. But the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown remains in dire condition, placed in a medically induced coma as doctors try to determine how much brain function was lost during her emergency. It’s believed that Brown’s brain function has been “significantly diminished,” and she was placed on a ventilator.
No drugs were found in Brown’s home, and it’s not yet clear what happened to cause her to lose consciousness. The incident comes nearly three years after Brown’s mother, Whitney Houston, drowned in a hotel bathtub the night before the Grammy Awards. Since her hospitalization, Brown’s father has flown from Los Angeles to be by her side, where members of Houston’s family have also gathered. Gossip Cop will have updates.
