Bobbi Kristina Brown Candlelight Vigil Announced As She Clings To Life
A candlelight vigil has been planned for Bobbi Kristina Brown for Monday night. The “Shining a Light for Healing” event, open to the public, will take place at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Georgia.
An announcement for the vigil, posted by the ailing 21-year-old’s cousin Jerod Brown says, “All are welcome to attend as a show of support for Bobbi Kriss & family.” Last Friday, Jerod shared an update on Facebook, asking people to continue to have faith in Brown’s return to good health. He wrote, “Though doctors may report to the public that opening her eyes is not a good thing or bad thing…#StillPrayForBK Though the media reported she’s in a coma… #StillPrayForBK Though your neighbor may not be hopeful….#StillPrayForBK.”
Brown has been in a medically induced coma and on life support for more than a week. She was found unconscious in her bathtub earlier this month and has been fighting for her life ever since. The circumstances of her medical emergency and discovery are not completely known; Nick Gordon, Brown’s partner, is reportedly under suspicion for potential foul play. Authorities are still investigating what happened. Doctors have reportedly advised Brown’s family that there’s little to be done for her, as they weigh whether to remove her from life support.
