Bobbi Kristina Preliminary Autopsy Results: “No Obvious Cause Of Death” And “No Significant Injuries”
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s preliminary autopsy results have come in and according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner, there is “no obvious underlying cause of death” and “no significant injuries.” In other words, at this point, there is no reason to believe that foul play was involved in Brown’s tragic passing.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the police opened a criminal investigation shortly after Brown was found face-down and unconscious in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home on January 31. In June, there were reports that Brown’s boyfriend Nick Gordon could be the suspect of a possible murder case.
Investigators from the start were concerned about marks reportedly found on Brown’s body. Following a June lawsuit against Gordon by Brown’s conservator, who accused him of assault and battery, the Fulton County District Attorney said, “We will be reviewing the case with greater interest.” Gordon has admitted that he and Brown were doing drugs before the accident, but maintains he played no part in her medical emergency.
Brown’s preliminary autopsy also revealed that she had no previously known medical conditions to explain why she was unconscious in the bathtub. The Medical Examiner, however, still needs to review Brown’s medical records before making a final determination as to the official cause of death.
