I’m an ignorant ass? I never said all blacks have kinky hair. I also didn’t say all blacks are dark. I said that the true hair texture and color won’t show for weeks to months later. If this baby is the same color in a few months, then that’s her true skin color. If her hair kinks (or remains straight) then that’s a her true hair texture.

I was only pointing out that these thinks sometimes change and you never know what the the babies color or hair texture is from birth. The baby’s hair shafts aren’t fully developed at birth so the shaft is straight. It can either remain straight or grow into an elliptical shape causing the hair to kink.

I was born pale with straight hair and I have dark skin with kinky hair. My sister has a finer hair texture and lighter skin. Skin color and hair texture can go either way and you cannot tell at birth.

Yes you are 100%. The concept behind darker skinned children being born lighter skinned is similar to the concept that all children are born with blue eyes, or the concept that many children are born with hair that is light in color and gets darker with age.
There is a pigment called melanin that gives hair, eyes, and skin its color. Children are born with low levels of this pigment, and develop more as time goes on, which will eventually give each individual their coloring.
Exposure to the sun also increases levels, hence certain people getting “tan”. it is funny, that it also provides some protection from the sun (therefore more exposure triggers the production of more) which is why certain populations have developed stronger concentrations of it, and therefore darker coloring.
It also stands to reason, that your newborn baby shouldn’t have a tremendous amount of exposure to direct sunlight, as their body lacks the natural protection. This is also why children burn more quickly and need stronger sunscreen.

The race of your surrogate determines nothing about your baby. The mom and dad have already combined sperm and egg (artifically), which determines what the baby will look like, and it just planted in the surrogate to carry the baby for 9 months, but the surrogate doesn’t give the baby any DNA!
