Blink-182 “GMA” Summer Concert Series Video: Watch Good Morning America Performance!
Blink-182 rocked out in Central Park on Friday for the “GMA” Summer Concert Series. Watch below!
Thousands of people showed up to watch the punk rock band perform at Rumsey Playfield, the concert venue located within Central Park. Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Matt Skiba performed “The Rock Show,” “All The Small Things,” “What’s My Age Again,” and their new song, “Bored To Death.” The track is Blink-182’s first single in nearly five years.
The song is also the group’s first not to feature Tom DeLonge, who departed the band last year. At the time, Hoppus and Barker said they intended to make a new album with him, but accused the vocalist and guitarist of repeatedly postponing the project in favor of side endeavors. They eventually parted ways, with Skiba, best known for Alkaline Trio, taking his place.
Together the new threesome made the album California, the release of which coincides with the “Good Morning America” concert. The record’s title is inspired by Blink’s home state, and “Bored To Death” was actually one of the first songs they wrote with Skiba. Understandably, though, fans still want to hear the band’s classics, and they obliged during the morning show performance.
It’s likely the group will continue to perform a mix of old and new tracks when the “California Tour” begins later this month. Check out the “GMA” video below, and stay tuned for more clips!
