Blind Singer Blessing Offor Impresses With ‘Just The Two Of Us’ On The Voice (VIDEO)
Blessing Offor was the first singer to get all four coaches, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell, to turn their chairs around for him with his performance of “Just The Two Of Us” on Monday’s “The Voice.”
The singer actually had to be told by Levine that he got four chairs because he’s blind. Offor explained to the coaches that he lost his eyesight as a kid.
Stefani said he “sounded so beautiful, a lot like Pharrell’s voice,” adding that his “tone is so gorgeous.” Levine called him “extraordinary.”
Pharrell mostly fretted that he wouldn’t get Offor to pick him. And Shelton offered how he has close ties and connections to Nashville, where Offor has lived and goes to write music. But then, in a total shocker, Offor picked Pharrell, noting his “track record is undeniable.”
Check out Offor’s performance, and tell us what you think.
