Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Proposal On “The Voice” Claim Is FALSE
A Tuesday headline from RadarOnline announces, “It’s Time! Blake In Talks With ‘The Voice’ Execs For ON-AIR Proposal To Gwen.” With the NBC music competition coming back next month, the site claims Shelton “might have a very special surprise for fans: a proposal!” And while Stefani won’t be one of the coaches on the new season, a so-called “source” is quoted as saying, ““Executives are really pushing for an on air engagement!”
“They told them both last season that there would be a huge bonus for them if they agreed to get engaged on the show and, of course, the offer still stands,” claims the outlet’s supposed snitch. And while the alleged tipster seems to have no idea whether the couple will go through with it, the “source” says, “Blake told his bosses that he does not want to come back to work because he is just having way too much fun with Gwen while she is on tour right now. He is already asking them to bring her back for Season 12 and Season 11 hasn’t even started yet!”
Of course, season 11 HAS started already, as filming got underway weeks ago, and Shelton will actually be heading out on his own tour this fall. But Gossip Cop doesn’t expect RadarOnline to know such details. The webloid has proven time and again that it rather fabricate than deal with facts.
Indeed, it was this webloid that falsely said Stefani was quitting “The Voice” after a supposed fight with executives in May. Now she and Shelton are “in talks” with those same execs for an “on-air proposal”? Nope. A rep for Stefani exclusively tells Gossip Cop that this new RadarOnline report is “made up,” while Shelton’s spokesperson exclusively tells us it’s “nonsense.”
