Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani NOT “Over Already,” Despite Report (EXCLUSIVE)
On Wednesday, the new issue of Life & Style hit newsstands declaring, “Gwen & Blake OVER ALREADY!” It’s a lot of nerve, considering the magazine has been telling lies about the stars for months. And now that pattern continues.
According to the tabloid, Stefani ended things with Shelton last week after she “got cold feet” just days after confirming the relationship. “Gwen was feeling overwhelmed,” a so-called “source” claims. “She found all the attention surrounding her and Blake to be too much and regretted how soon they made their relationship public.”
It’s further alleged Stefani “put on the brakes” out of concern for how the romance may affect her three kids with estranged husband Gavin Rossdale. “Gwen blindsided Blake with her sudden change of heart,” writes the outlet. Of course, the story also conveniently includes an out, with the final paragraph reading, “Pals believe spending hours on [“The Voice”] set could again lead to a spark one day.”
What a perfect cover. That way, when Shelton and Stefani continue along as they have been, Life & Style can say they chose to get back together. In actuality, they haven’t split in the first place, and that was abundantly clear on “The Voice” on Monday, where the co-stars engaged in PDA during commercial breaks.
It also must be noted that the tabloid has a dreadful history when it comes to “reporting” on Stefani and Shelton. In September, before they were even a couple, Life & Style falsely claimed they were “moving in together.” Then, in October and also before the official romance, the outlet wrongly alleged they were planning a “wedding.”
Not surprisingly, neither of those details are mentioned in this new breakup tale. And while there’s been some speculation that Shelton and Stefani’s romance is just a publicity stunt, Gossip Cop is exclusively told they remain “on” for now, and the cover story is “not true.” Life & Style is wrong yet again.
