Blake Shelton Did NOT Say He’s Not Having Kids With Miranda Lambert, Despite Report
Miranda Lambert is NOT heartbroken over her husband Blake Shelton’s alleged unwillingness to have children with her — because a tabloid made up that unwillingness.Gossip Cop would like to bust this rumor before it spreads.
According to OK! — a magazine that has repeatedly spread lies about the couple and their marriage problems — Shelton recently caused Lambert some “baby heartache” when he appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and, when asked whether he planned to have kids, responded, “Ah… no.”
The tabloid says the moment made the couple’s “private drama… uncomfortably public.” OK! explains that Lambert is eager to start a family, but can’t convince Shelton to do so. First, this is all hilarious coming from the same outlet that falsely claimed Shelton and Lambert were having twins in 2013.
Second, Shelton never told DeGeneres he and Lambert weren’t going to have children. In the clip (see below), DeGeneres asks Shelton, “Will you be reproducing soon?” With a laugh, he responds, “No.” “Soon” is kind of the key phrase there, right? Because it was NOT Shelton ruling out fatherhood, as OK! would have everyone believe. The reason no one thought this was news when it happened a month ago is because it wasn’t news. But OK! needed a story, we guess. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the report is “idiotic.”
