Blake Shelton Misses Line During The Voice Performance: “Sh*t!” (VIDEO)
Well, that was a little embarrassing. Blake Shelton performed with his artists on Tuesday’s “The Voice,” but it was the country superstar who actually messed up. Watch below.
Shelton took the stage on the live results show with Hannah Kirby, Meghan Linsey, and Corey Kent White, the three singers on his team in the Top 12. The group performed “In The Midnight Hour,” each taking on different verses. While Shelton kicked off the song flawlessly, he was apparently having such a good time that he later missed his cue when it was time for him to sing again.
There was a weird vocal silence before Shelton realized and went on to the next line, before laughing at his flub. The singer took to Twitter afterward to acknowledge the lyric gaffe, writing, “Yes I missed a damn line in that song… Sh*t!!! I like how this is going though!!!” Shelton was referring to finding out that both Kirby and Linsey had received enough votes to continue on to the Top 10. It was later revealed that Kent was safe, too, keeping Shelton’s team completely in tact.
Maybe that means Shelton will get a second chance and they’ll all perform together again next week. Check out the video below, specifically the 1-minute mark. What do you think of Shelton’s mistake?
