Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert NOT “Over” — Despite Report
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are “over,” says Life & Style. The tabloid’s cover story claims the couple recently had a fight that “ended it all,” and that she’s made the “agonizing decision to move on without him.”
According to the outlet, Lambert’s desperation to have a baby — and Shelton’s partying — “led to a confrontation that has ripped apart their three-year marriage.” “Friends think it’s the end for Blake and Miranda,” explains a so-called “insider” for Life & Style.
The tab’s source explains, “Miranda gave him an ultimatum to shape up or ship out. She told him she wanted to start trying for a baby soon, but that he had to clean up his act first.” When Shelton chose to keep drinking, says Life & Style, it represented “an obstacle they can’t overcome.”
Plenty of pointless filler follows, much of it rehashing failed tabloid rumors from the past, and the magazine concludes with more ominous “insider” quotes.
“She’s done with him humiliating her and is ready for him to grow up and get serious about their family’s future,” explains the tab’s tipster. “I have no doubt that she’s leaving Blake if he doesn’t change.”
Of course, the entire story is 100 percent bogus, just like an embarrassing number of previous Life & Style cover stories about the couple. This is more of the same. Shelton and Lambert’s tweets on the subject on Wednesday said it all (see below).
Me and @mirandalambert are reading about our separation… Shit!! I hope I get all the liquor in the divorce!!!
