Blake Shelton Trying To Make Gwen Stefani Jealous With Mystery Woman?
Blake Shelton did not try to get Gwen Stefani “jealous” by putting his arm around another woman, despite an absurdly false report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “stupid” and “obviously not true.”
According to The National Enquirer, Shelton got “sweet revenge” on Stefani while shooting a music video on March 1 when he “tenderly draped his arm” around a “mystery lady.” The tabloid alleges that Shelton purposely made that move to get back at Stefani for what she supposedly wrote about him in her secret diaries. The untrustworthy magazine then quotes a so-called “eyewitness” saying, “It’s as though Blake knew Gwen would see the photos, and he decided to have some fun.”
Of course, the entire article is just beyond ridiculous. First off, there are no “secret diaries” for which Shelton is seeking “revenge.” Two week ago, the unreliable tabloid embarrassingly claimed it had a page from Stefani’s journals. In reality, it was an Instagram photo Stefani shared of the track list of her new album.
Then there’s the issue of Shelton being photographed with a co-worker on the shoot of his music video. The tabloid based its entire premise on the off-chance Stefani “would see the photos,” and then get upset. Of course, if the Enquirer hadn’t bought the paparazzi pictures, no one would probably have seen the entirely innocent picture of Shelton with a co-worker that the magazine used to fabricate an thoroughly untrue story.
Still, Gossip Cop fact-check everything, and a source close to the situation calls the tabloid’s story “stupid” and “obviously not true,” noting that Stefani and Shelton remain blissfully happy. Unfortunately, this is far from the first time Gossip Cop has had to bust the magazine for an untrue tale. Last week, we tore into the outlet for a tasteless story that claimed Stefani was in the midst of a “miscarriage hell.” That report was similarly not true, but also beyond disgusting.
