Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani performed their new duet “Go Ahead And Break My Heart” on “The Voice” on Monday. Watch below!

The performance was the first time Shelton and Stefani sang the new song live, and it came just hours after the track’s release. And, as Gossip Cop reported, the duet was only confirmed to exist just a few weeks ago. Stefani tweeted a sneak peek at the back cover for Shelton’s upcoming album, and the track listing very clearly said, “Go Ahead And Break My Heart (Featuring Gwen Stefani).”

“Go Ahead And Break My Heart” is now available on iTunes as a single download, and also comes instantly with a pre-order for Shelton’s new record, If I’m Honest. As Gossip Cop has previously noted, the album’s first single, “Came Here To Forget,” was inspired by his new romance with Stefani in the wake of his divorce from Miranda Lambert. The whole record will drop on May 20.

Shelton and Stefani began dating last fall, and have become increasingly public about their relationship. They made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in February, and he recently accompanied her to the Radio Disney Music Awards. As for “The Voice,” though Stefani isn’t currently a coach for season 10, this was not her first return to the show.

As Gossip Cop reported, Stefani was the guest adviser for Team Blake during the Battle round earlier this season. Then, last month, she gave a live performance of her song “Misery” on the same day “Go Ahead And Break My Heart” was revealed. Check out video of Shelton and Stefani’s debut duet performance below!
