Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani NOT Dating, Despite Report
According to Life & Style, Shelton and Stefani hooked up on the set of the NBC show “The Voice,” following both of their recent divorces. As Gossip Cop reported, Shelton and his wife of four years Miranda Lambert split up this past July, while Stefani ended her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale in August. The tabloid seemingly manufactured this tale simply because both coaches on “The Voice” now happen to be newly single.
A so-called “insider” on the set of the show tells the tabloid, “They’re trying to keep it on the down-low, but it’s not happening, partly because they’re all over each other.” The supposed “source” then claims, “The chemistry between them is off the charts. Everyone on set sees that Blake and Gwen are falling for each other.”
Another alleged “insider” claims that Shelton and Stefani are “inseparable,” adding, “When they’re not together, Blake has been calling her, too.” Not surprisingly, the tabloid drags Lambert into the mix, with a purported “pal” of the country star claiming she’s “really upset” after hearing about the (non-existent) romance between Stefani and her ex-husband. “She’s always felt like she could never compete with Gwen,” the “insider” is conveniently quoted as saying, before adding, “This is her worst nightmare.”
None of this, however, is remotely true.
Gossip Cop has corrected Life & Style numerous times for making up stories about Shelton. On two separate occasions, we busted the tabloid for claiming that he and Lambert were having a baby. In fact, Shelton himself threatened to sue the magazine’s sister publication In Touch last month when it wrongly alleged he had cheated on Lambert with Cady Groves. Gossip Cop exclusively busted that same story a week before Shelton mentioned potential litigation.
The tabloid’s new story about Shelton and Stefani dating is similarly false. A rep for Shelton exclusively tells Gossip Cop that the report is “completely untrue.”
