Blake Shelton Cheating On Gwen Stefani?
Blake Shelton is NOT “cheating” on Gwen Stefani, nor does he have a sordid history of infidelity, despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.
According to the National Enquirer, Shelton has a secret past of “serial cheating,” “violent rages,” and “constant boozing,” that he’s hiding from Stefani. The magazine alleges the country singer cheated on Miranda Lambert with at least eight other women during the time they were married, as well as tried to make moves on Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, and Shakira, among others.
Not surprisingly, the tabloid further claims Shelton’s supposed womanizing has carried itself over into his relationship with Stefani. And the magazine’s headline, “Cheating Blake: 9 Women He’s Hiding From Gwen,” is nothing more than a cheap bait-and-switch, with all of the ladies mentioned being women he allegedly hooked up with before dating Stefani. As for actually being unfaithful to the No Doubt singer, the publication claims he “cheated” on her by making “late-night phone calls” to Cassadee Pope, his protegee on “The Voice” in 2012.
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, as well as a rep for Shelton. While the singer’s rep tells Gossip Cop it’s all “false,” another insider also assures us there’s simply “no truth” to the tabloid’s cheating allegations. The country singer was never unfaithful to Lambert, nor is he pursuing other women behind Stefani’s back.
Of course, we’re not surprised the tabloid would concoct such a story. In the less than five months since they started dating, Gossip Cop has corrected numerous false stories about Shelton and Stefani’s relationship in the Enquirer. Earlier this month, we debunked the tabloid’s bogus claim that Stefani was pregnant with Shelton’s baby (but had a miscarriage). And shortly before that, Gossip Cop busted the magazine’s absurdly false tales about the couple being caught having sex at a wrap party for “The Voice,” as well as making homemade sex tapes. The tabloid’s latest cover story about Shelton’s supposed history of cheating is equally untrue.
