As Gossip Cop has reported, “Came Here To Forget” is the lead single from Shelton’s upcoming album, If I’m Honest. The song, which is about moving on with a new love following a breakup, was inspired by the country superstar’s divorce from Miranda Lambert and subsequent new relationship with Gwen Stefani. He performed it live for the first time at the ACM Awards last month.

Earlier this week, Shelton released another track from the forthcoming record, called “Go Ahead And Break My Heart.” That’s actually a duet with Stefani, in which they sing about giving in to their growing feelings. They performed it on “The Voice” on Monday, and will do so again later this month at the Billboard Music Awards.

Neither star is a stranger to “The Tonight Show.” In fact, they even participated together in a lip sync battle with Fallon back in 2014. At the time, of course, both were still married and had no idea just how close they’d become. Now much of Stefani’s new album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, is about Shelton.

And Gossip Cop expects the reverse to be true when If I’m Honest comes out next week. In the meantime, check out Shelton’s “Tonight Show” performance below!
