Blake Shelton Blasts Tabloids For “Bullcrap” Stories About Personal Life
Blake Shelton is blasting back at the tabloids for making up stories about him. The country singer and coach on “The Voice” tweeted a series of messages about all the “bullcrap” written about him, and how it’s all “not true.”
He started off, “I’ve read more complete bullcrap about my personal life, my next album and my job on the voice this week than ever before… EVER Before!” Shelton followed that tweet with a message that read, “If my life was half as chaotic as they say it is I’d be dead… My god I wish they’d move on to someone else!!! It’s so old at this point.” Next, responding to a tweet about a wrong rumor that claimed he bought a home in Nashville, Shelton noted, “Ha!!! See?!! Even THATS not true!!! Some of the lies aren’t even good ones!!!”
Shelton has every right to gripe about the tabloids, which Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted for fabricating stories about him. On Wednesday, we corrected a cover story from In Touch that falsely alleged Shelton was “at war” with Gwen Stefani’s estranged husband Gavin Rossdale. As Gossip Cop reported, the article was untrue.
Of course, we weren’t surprised since we recently crushed the same tabloid for wrongly reporting Shelton and Stefani had canceled their (nonexistent) wedding, and that the No Doubt singer was pregnant, a claim the magazine curiously abandoned in its latest “at war” article.
