Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds NOT Having Marriage Problems, Despite Report
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are not having marriage problems nor are they on the verge of “splitting,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. A rep for the stars tells us it’s dead wrong.
According to the National Enquirer, there are a number of supposed factors pulling Lively and Reynolds apart. First, the tabloid claims their busy careers are keeping them from seeing each other, noting that the pair hasn’t been spotted together in public in months. “They’ve drifted completely apart,” a so-called “insider” tells the magazine, adding, “They’re both focused on their careers, and have no time for each other.”
Second, the magazine alleges Reynolds is “jealous” his wife received praise for her role in The Age of Adaline, while his movie Woman In Gold didn’t fare well at the box office. A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid, “Blake and Ryan’s career rivalry is a problem. Ryan would like a wife who stays at home, but that’s not Blake.”
These issues and more are what’s leading Reynolds and Lively to be close to “splitting,” says the tabloid. Of course, just because the country-dwelling couple lives far from the prying eyes of the paparazzi and aren’t photographed, doesn’ meant they don’t spend time together. Additionally, far from being “jealous” of one another, Gossip Cop is told they’re both incredibly supportive of one another.
Remember, the Enquirer is the same tabloid Gossip Cop busted last year for absurdly reporting that Lively was seeking pregnancy advice from Reynolds’ ex-wife Scarlett Johansson. Gossip Cop also corrected the tabloid’s similarly inaccurate claim that Reynolds was asking Sandra Bullock for advice on how to raise his child with Lively. Not surprisingly, the tabloid’s latest tale about the couple is also wrong. A rep for Lively tells Gossip Cop they are not having marriage problems and always make time to see each other on one another’s film sets.
