Blake Lively “Abused” By Ryan Reynolds Claim NOT True
On Tuesday, GamenGuide published an article alleging, “Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are reportedly ending their marriage very soon. Now, new reports are claiming that the ‘Deadpool 2’ star was seen abusing his wife, which could possibly be the main reason why the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress wants a divorce as soon as possible!” The outlet further states, “Rumors are rife that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively might follow the fate of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Sources have claimed that the ‘Deadpool 2’ lead star was seen abusing his wife and kids.”
“According to reports, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively had a huge fight lately that the couple was heard shouting at each other. Informants have claimed that the ‘Deadpool 2’ actor and the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress are heard arguing over their new baby,” claims the grammatically-challenged publication.
The site goes on, “Speculations have it that Blake Lively was seen with several bruises and scratches the very next day after her alleged fight with Ryan Reynolds. This then sparked reports that the ‘Deadpool 2’ is abusing his own wife, which could explain why divorce news are spreading like wildfire.”
The story is capped off with claims of Lively and Reynolds cheating on one another with Leonardo DiCaprio and Morena Baccarin, respectively. GamenGuide adds at the end, “Both Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are yet to confirm these reports. So, fans of the ‘Deadpool 2’ actor and ‘Gossip Girl’ actress should take everything with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.”
SERIOUSLY?! The publication did a whole story on Reynolds alleging committing domestic violence, only to say at the end that it may not be true. To call it galling would be an understatement.
Let’s be very clear: Reynolds is NOT abusing his wife. Lively NOT not been “seen with several bruises and scratches.” Nor are there any reputable reports claiming otherwise. In fact, a Google search indicates that it is ONLY GameNGuide making these serious and seriously unfounded claims.
And it was only this particular outlet that falsely claimed earlier this month that Lively and Reynolds were divorcing. Based on the way the articles are structured, with the multiple references to the actors’ projects and repeated use of their full names, Gossip Cop suspects the site is really trying to game Google and score SEO traffic. But that is NO excuse to spread a false rumor about Lively being “abused.”
