Bindi Liebowitz, Brendan Fletcher “The Voice” Battle Video: Watch “Home” Performance!
Bindi Liebowitz and Brendan Fletcher competed during the final Battles of “The Voice” season 11 on Tuesday, leading to the last steal. Check out the video below!
Liebowitz had Adam Levine and Blake Shelton fighting over her during the Blind Auditions. Fletcher, meanwhile, turned three chairs, with Shelton the odd man out. The aspiring stars ended up joining Team Adam.
Their coach said he decided to pair the two artists in the second round because they’re “both cut from the same clothe, in terms of wanting to do something different.” They were tasked with performing “Home” by Marc Broussard, which Levine thought would serve their rasps well. But Liebowitz lacked confidence when it came to nailing one of the notes, and guest mentor Sammy Hagar wanted Fletcher to get over his shyness.
Thankfully, both contestants got over their hang-ups in time for the big performance. Blake Shelton said after the rockin’ duet, “You both sounded really good. It’s hard to figure out who out-sang the other.” But he and Keys both wanted to “hear more” from Liebowitz, while Miley Cyrus thought it was “too easy” for her.
Levine, though, praised her for staying in the “middle,” and even compared the songstress to Rihanna. But he also found Fletcher to be “other-worldly,” and his potential to be “limitless.” And with that, he chose to keep Fletcher on his team.
But that allowed Shelton to finally get his way, as he used his remaining steal to put Liebowitz on his team. Watch below!
