Billy Gilman ‘Crying’ “The Voice” Video: Watch Live Playoffs Performance!
Billy Gilman sang “Crying” for his first live performance on “The Voice” on Monday. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Gilman has been a frontrunner arguably since before he even auditioned for season 11. The former child star had a country hit with “One Voice” when he was only 11 years old, earning him a Grammy nomination. Unfortunately, his career floundered after that.
But now Gilman has joined the NBC competition as a pop singer. His four-chair turn-around during the Blind Auditions led him to join Team Adam, and he sailed through the Battle and Knockout rounds. Tonight’s performance marked not just the first time the show went live this season, but also the first time Gilman had to compete for America’s vote.
After his turn on the stage, though, Gilman couldn’t receive any feedback. Like with all the other Top 20 performances, critiques weren’t allowed due to time constraints. Viewers, however, still had to vote in the moment for which three members of Team Adam they wanted to see in the Top 12.
The audience would be able to choose two singers, with the coach himself getting the final pick. So, would Gilman be one of the lucky ones? He sure was, along with Josh Gallagher. Last to make it through was Brendan Fletcher. Simone Gundy and Riley Elmore were eliminated. Check out the video below!
