Billy Bob Thornton to Make Movie About Angelina Jolie Marriage?

A number of outlets have picked up a report claiming Billy Bob Thornton is basing his script for the upcoming And Then We Drove on his marriage to Angelina Jolie.

The rumor gained steam with an “insider” telling Variety that the former couple’s tabloid-fodder relationship “partly inspired” what described as an “ethereal” road movie.

But is his time with Jolie really at the core of Thornton’s new writing-and-directing effort?

Nope.

A rep for Thornton tells Gossip Cop, “It is not based on or inspired by his relationship with Angelina.”
