Bill Nye is the victim of a death hoax.
The scientist, who gained fame as “Bill Nye the Science Guy” on educational series and news broadcasts, is the subject of a Twitter rumor claiming he died on Wednesday.
Nye is NOT dead.
He’s alive and well.
Nye, in fact, has been the subject of bogus death rumors before.
As Gossip Cop has noted, these hoaxes tend to come in waves.
Tiger Woods, Sylvester Stallone and Denzel Washington have been “claimed” by other death hoaxes in the last week.
