Bill Cosby Responds Vaguely To Sexual Assault Allegations On GMA (VIDEO)
Bill Cosby responded to the sexual assault allegations made against him with nothing more than vague answers on Friday’s “Good Morning America.” The comedian, set to speak to high school students in Selma, Alabama on Friday, as part of an educational initiative with the Black Belt Community Foundation to raise awareness about underfunded schools, was asked what he would tell the young adults if they questioned him about the growing accusations.
“How will you answer them? If they are pressing you: ‘Are you guilty? Did you do it? Are allegations true?'” Cosby was asked on “Good Morning America.” While seated next to other members of the Black Belt Community Foundation, he replied, “I’m not sure that they will come like that.” Cosby continued vaguely, “I think that many of them say, ‘Well, you’re a hypocrite. You say one thing, you say the other.’ My point is okay, listen to me carefully. I’m telling you where the road is out. Now you want to go here or you want to be concerned about who’s giving you the message?”
Cosby was also asked whether accusations of his alleged sexual assaults would “overshadow his message” to students. Again Cosby bobbed and weaved, answering, “I have been in this business 52 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” He added, “And reality is the situation, and I can’t speak.” And when questioned about what he would like his legacy to be, Cosby simply stated, “I have a ton of ideas to put on television about people and their love for each other.”
