Bill Cosby will not face criminal charges for the alleged sexual assaults of Playboy model Chloe Goins and another unidentified woman who claimed the comedian raped her in 1965, when she was 17 years old. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office rejected both lawsuits on Wednesday, due to insufficient evidence and the statute of limitations running out.

As Gossip Cop reported, Goins filed a civil lawsuit against Cosby in October, claiming the he drugged and sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 2008. The status of that case remains unclear, but on Wednesday, the D.A. concluded that both Goins’ and the unidentified woman’s allegations couldn’t be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

In the Goins case, for instance, Cosby was reportedly out of town when the alleged assault supposedly took place at the Playboy mansion. As for the other accuser’s claims, there were issues stemming from her changing her story, including how old she was at the time of the alleged incident.

Cosby, however, is still facing criminal charges for the alleged 2004 sexual assault of Andrea Constand. As Gossip Cop reported, the comedian was arrested in Pennsylvania in late December and charged with aggravated indecent assault. He was released on $1 million bail shortly after being booked. He’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing on January 14. If convicted, Cosby could face up to 10 years in prison.
