Bill Cosby Rape Accusers Featured On New York Magazine Cover (PHOTO)
Bill Cosby’s alleged rape victims are featured on the cover of the new and visually powerful issue of New York magazine. A total of 35 of the 46 women who have accused Cosby of sexually assaulting them were interviewed for the story titled, “Cosby: The Women, An Unwelcome Sisterhood.” See a larger version of the cover below.
The black-and-white cover has most of Cosby’s accusers seated in rows with the date of each of their alleged assaults beneath them. However, one empty chair stands at the end of the final row, and it’s meaning is up to interpretation.
Two notable women featured on the cover of the magazine include former supermodels Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Dickinson claims she was sexually assaulted by Cosby after one of his performances in Lake Tahoe in 1982. She says Cosby gave her red wine and a pill back at her hotel room, then allegedly raped her after she blacked out. Johnson claims Cosby drugged her when she auditioned for a small part on “The Cosby Show” in the mid-1980s. According to Johnson, the comedian invited her to his home to read for the part and then allegedly assaulted her.
The magazine’s compelling feature story is told through photos accompanied by the women’s revealing testimonies of the events surrounding their alleged sexual assaults by Cosby. Check out the cover of New York below, and share your thoughts.
