Big SeanBig Sean House Burglarized After Break-In, Music And Jewelry Stolens home was burglarized after a break-in at his Hollywood Hills residence.
The rapper left town last week for a trip to Dubai, during which his mansion was targeted for crime. The unidentified suspect or suspects managed to gain entry to the house, and then to Big Sean’s safe. The burglar or burglars reportedly made off with $150,000 jewelry.
But that’s not all. The culprits also allegedly took unpublished music. According to TMZ, police believe the incident may have been an “inside job,” as investigators “think the thieves knew Sean was in Dubai and had a clear layout of the house.”
Big Sean has not mentioned the situation on social media, but has been posting photos from his time in Dubai on Instagram. In a picture shared Tuesday, the performer noted he and his father “got way too into it in Dubai.”
Big Sean is winding down what is probably is most successful year to date. His third album, Dark Sky Paradise, was released in February, and became his first number one album. He’s received particular acclaim for the moving song, “One Man Can Change the World.”
2015 also included Big Sean’s ill-fated relationship with Ariana Grande. Next year, he’ll join Rihanna on her European “Anti World Tour.” Hopefully his house will have increased security by then.
