LISTEN: Beyoncé “Crazy In Love” And “Haunted” Fifty Shades Of Grey Remixes
Beyoncé’s full remixes for Fifty Shades of Grey have surfaced online. Listen to the new versions of “Crazy In Love” and “Haunted” below!
As Gossip Cop reported, a snippet of the “Crazy In Love” remix debuted last year with a teaser for the highly-anticipated film. Since then, the first full trailer and several other previews have featured clips of the reworked song. Music producer Boots is said to have worked with Beyoncé on the track, which initially came out in 2003 as her first solo single after years of working with Destiny’s Child. It featured future husband Jay Z, appeared on Beyoncé’s debut solo album Dangerously In Love, and went to number one on five different Billboard charts before winning two Grammys.
The new version of “Haunted” is called the “Michael Diamond Remix,” named after the music producer, and was teased in the movie’s second trailer. The original song, which was also a Boots collaboration, was released more than a decade after “Crazy In Love,” appearing on Beyoncé’s self-titled surprise album, which she dropped in December 2013. The track features sexually-explicit lyrics, and is typically paired with another Beyoncé song, “Ghost.”
Both remixed songs appear on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, which will be released on Tuesday, just a few days before the movie finally opens in theaters. As Gossip Cop reported, the record also features the new Sia song, “Salted Wound.” There’s also music from Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd, and even Frank Sinatra and the Rolling Stones for 16 songs in all. Listen to the “Crazy In Love” and “Haunted” remixes below, and tell us what you think.
