Beyonce, Jay Z NOT In “$1 Billion Divorce,” Despite Report
This week’s National Enquirer announces, “Beyonce Trapped, Alone — And Expecting Twins!” It’s true, of course, that Beyonce is pregnant with twins, as Gossip Cop has reported. But virtually everything else in the story is wrong, including the declaration, “Babies won’t save nightmare marriage as superstar speeds toward $1B divorce from Jay Z.”
“Megastar Beyonce is glowing with news that she’s pregnant with twins — but privately she’s trapped and alone in a nightmare marriage,” writes the supermarket tabloid. It’s alleged the couple has “secretly split twice” and were once “literally signatures away from a divorce.” But now, contends the dubious publication, “a BILLION-dollar split appears even more likely.”
A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Bey and Jay have had a really rough time, and they’ve been banking on another baby to get things back on track.” Asserts the magazine, “Beyonce’s desire for another child has kept them together… But insiders doubt giving their daughter, Blue Ivy, 5, two siblings will solve the couple’s problems.”
“Bey and Jay are two flawed people who make everyone believe they’re perfect,” adds the outlet’s alleged tipster. “But they are a bad storm and you’d best believe there aren’t any blue skies hovering over them.” But readers best believe the National Enquirer doesn’t know what it’s talking about, even if its “source” uses friendly nicknames like “Bey and Jay.”
This is the same tabloid that, all the way back in 2011, said Beyonce’s first pregnancy was fixing marriage problems… that didn’t actually exist. And this is also the same tabloid that, in 2015, said Beyonce and Jay Z called off a divorce after the media got wind of it. The publication keeps claiming the couple is divorcing, and then keeps coming up with excuses for why they haven’t.
Now this new story, which never even explains why Beyonce is supposedly “trapped and alone,” is just continuing the manufactured cycle. It belongs in the trash, just like all the previous articles, because the National Enquirer remains divorced from the facts.
