Beyonce’s Top 5 Song Collaborations (VIDEOS)
Coldplay announced on Friday that its upcoming seventh studio album will feature a collaboration with Beyonce. This is the first time Beyonce and her longtime friend Chris Martin have worked together, and fans can’t wait to hear what they come up with. Unfortunately, the album isn’t set to be released until December 4, so until then, Gossip Cop is taking a look back at some of our favorite Beyonce collaborations of all time.
1. “Feeling Myself” – Nicki Minaj featuring Beyonce (2015)
As soon as Nicki Minaj dropped a verse on Beyonce’s “Flawless Remix,” fans anxiously waited for the duo to team up on an original song, and “Feeling Myself” was well worth the wait. The girl anthem about owning one’s hotness was easily one of the best songs of summer 2015.
2. “Crazy In Love” – Beyonce featuring Jay Z (2008)
Of all of the husband-and-wife collaborations, “Crazy In Love” has to be everyone’s favorite. The lead single off Beyonce’s debut LP after leaving Destiny’s Child, “Crazy In Love” gave fans a first taste of what was to come of her amazing solo career.
3. “Video Phone” – Beyonce featuring Lady Gaga (2009)
It was a little hard to chose between both of Beyonce and Lady Gaga’s phone-themed collaborations, but “Video Phone” just edges out “Telephone.” Besides it being the very first time the two megastars worked together, Beyonce and Lady Gaga showed off some seriously sexy dance moves in the music video. Who knew Mother Monster could move like that?!
4. “Drunk In Love” – Beyonce featuring Jay Z (2014)
When Beyonce dropped her self-titled fifth studio album without a word, “Drunk In Love” quickly became its lead single. The song, filled with iconic lyrics, proved to everyone that, even after all these years, the couple was more in love than ever before.
5. “Love In This Club, Part II” – Usher And Beyonce featuring Lil Wayne (2008)
This oft-forgotten collaboration deserves some recognition. Usher took his already smash hit “Love In This Club” and did the only thing that could make it better: added Beyonce for “Part II.” The result was so fun and sexy, hopefully it’s only a matter of time before the singers work together again.
