Did Betty White Actually Blast Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen?

Betty White might be America’s Sweetheart, but according to quotes attributed to her in the Daily Mail, she isn’t so sweet on Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen.

In a story that’s been picked up by multiple outlets, the paper reports that White had stern words for show business’ younger generations, supposedly citing Lohan and Sheen by name.

“They party too much, don’t learn their lines, are unprofessional and they grumble about everything,” the Mail quotes White as saying about contemporary celebrities. “I think they are terribly ungrateful.”

The “Hot in Cleveland” star reportedly continued, “I cannot stand the people who get wonderful starts in show business, and who abuse it. Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, for example, although there are plenty of others, too.”

But did White actually call out Lohan and Sheen, as alleged?

Gossip Cop wanted to make sure and reached out to White’s agent, who told us the quotes are, to the best of his knowledge, not attributable to her.

Could something have been miscommunicated?

    Everything she said is true. Many young celebrities are so ungrateful for everything they have. I’m glad someone spoke about it, everyone seems so scared to voice their opinion. But being Betty White’s age, one shouldn’t care too much what people are gonna say anyways.

    weather she said it or not , is irrelevant, but so true. So many young stars start so well , but then they get all caught up in the lifestyle and think they can do no wrong. Sad to say but the industry and society has no one to blame for themselves. Celebrities have a different set of rules , then regular people. For example. They can get into the trendiest clubs ,and drink and do drugs and not even be of legal age. Let an ordinary 16 yr old girl or boy try that , and see how far they get. When Celebs break the law for example Lindsay Lohan instead of having to complete her 6 month sentence she was in for what 2 weeks . Let an ordinary person , mess up as much as she does and they would have to serve the whole six months. Or maybe 2 months if they got out for good behavior. No wonder they think nothing can happen to them , that they can’t get into trouble.
