Bethenny Frankel’s Talk Show Close to National Syndication Deal

Bethenny Frankel is about to go national.

Ratings for “Bethenny,” the former “Real Housewives of New York” star’s talk show, have been strong enough in six test markets that FOX is expected to announce a nationwide pickup of the syndicated series in 2013.

The show’s current six-week run on stations in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Dallas, Phoenix and Minneapolis has mostly generated huge ratings increases over programming from the same time last year.

Its strong performance could mean countrywide syndication will be made official shortly.

“Bethenny” is produced, in part, by Ellen DeGeneres, whose studios have hosted the tapings of Frankel’s test shows.

    I don’t like it…she doesn’t let her guests speak…her voice grates after about 2 minutes. She’s yelling…the show is ALL over the place..who’s she up against right now? nobody its summer..everybody is on hiatus. The excutives are kidding themselves with this one.

    I hope this show goes national. I enjoyed Bethenny immensely! She is a breath of fresh air!! It is the perfect alternative to The (Only) View and anything else on daytime tv. I can’t stand watching those women on The View -they are so predictable and annoying. Bethenny is genuine, funny, sweet, realistic, non-judgmental, fashionable,and beautiful. She is relatable to all women. Keep ths show, please!

    Frankly, I think Ms Frankel suffers from over exposure and a touch of narcissism. I really liked her on the RHWNY and on her current reality show, but once a week is enough. Besides, a talk show is suppose to be all about the guests and the guests are suppose to get first show at actually talking. Bethenny is too wound up and ready to talk about herself. Once a week on her reality show is enough thank you very much.

    No thanks. Loved her on RHNY and Bethenny Ever After but not five days a week. Her voice grates on me after a few minutes of the talk show and she rarely even lets her gets speak because she is so hyper and talking over them.

    actually I like her very much, however listening and letting her guests speak ia a problem. I think with time,coaching and relaxing of nerves she could be refreshing and not the “ordinary” that we have been settling for! Diane
