Bethenny Frankel Denies Real Housewives Return, Hints At New Bravo Projects
As we reported back in March, rumors claiming Frankel might rejoin the show for its upcoming season were completely false. Us Weekly, however, reheated the bad dish on Wednesday, alleging Frankel had signed on as part of Bravo’s “last-ditch effort” to boost the series’ ratings. But it’s still not true — and even Frankel herself is saying so.
Asked about the claim during a SiriusXM Radio interview with Jenny Hutt, Frankel replies, “Everyone’s saying a bunch of things, because I keep going in and out of Bravo.” “I’m talking to Andy [Cohen] about two different projects, because he’s got a production company now,” explains the Skinny Girl mogul. She goes on to reveal, “I haven’t signed or decided to do anything. But it’s not what everyone thinks it is.” “I feel like I’m going to get into trouble if I say what I’m actually doing with Andy, so I don’t want to say much more,” says Frankel, stressing, “but I haven’t signed anything.”
Frankel continues to hint, “[Andy’s] doing a lot of different shows, so we’re talking about a couple of different things and deciding together what we’re going to do.” The star further adds later on in the interview, “I don’t know that I’m going back to reality TV. There are some shows that I’m talking about that have a little bit of structure in reality.” So, to be clear: NO “Housewives” for Frankel, but she IS considering new projects with Cohen and Bravo. Got it?
