Bethenny Frankel Does NOT Have Final Approval Of Real Housewives Of New York Footage, Despite Claim
Bethenny Frankel is not getting approval of the footage shown on “The Real Housewives of New York City,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this false claim being made by a webloid that has published a number of inaccuracies about the Bravo franchise.
According to RadarOnline, Frankel demanded final approval of all the footage in which she appears and “Bravo agreed.” A woefully ill-informed “source” tells the webloid, “Bethenny wanted control over any footage she was included in,” because she didn’t want to be portrayed as “pathetic,” following her failed marriage and talk show. The site’s supposed “source” says, “Bravo balked at first, but realized Bethenny wouldn’t come back without it.”
The story is simply not true. A Bravo source connected directly with the reality series tells Gossip Cop exclusively that “none of the Housewives have any approval of the content aired on the show.” The cast members do not dictate what does and does not make the final cut, says our impeccable insider, who joked that Frankel had other “demands.”
RadarOnline has a past with getting “Real Housewives” stories wrong. The webloid once hilariously reported details from a “reunion” show, involving the “Beverly Hills” cast, months before the episode was even shot. Other doozies Gossip Cop has busted include a fictitious claim that LeAnn Rimes might join the cast of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and a handful of fabricated tales about Teresa Giudice taping a Christmas special and episodes of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” before going into prison.
