Ben Yonattan America’s Got Talent Audition Video: Blind 14-Year-Old Dancer Gives “Inspiring” Performance — WATCH!
Ben Yonattan, a blind dancer, gave an “inspiring” performance on “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday. Check out the video below!
The 14-year-old, who was adopted from Guatemala, wears special glasses, but they only provide a very limited amount of vision. His mantra is “Don’t stop dancing, don’t stop dancing,” and despite his disability, Ben says, “You can follow you’re dream because it comes from your heart.”
The season 10 contender went on to do a contemporary dance, and he received a standing ovation. Howie Mandel told Yonattan afterward that his “attitude is really inspiring to me.” Mel B said said, “I’m so glad you graced our stage today… You are unstoppable.”
“I love that you are here, and the message you are providing,” said Heidi Klum. “I think it’s amazing what you showed today.” And Howard Stern called the teen’s dance a “top-notch performance,” adding that it was a “great audition,” and “I’m inspired by you. I think you are terrific.”
Mandel actually teased Yonattan’s act minutes before the show’s airing, tweeting, “Last week @TheDrewLynch made you cry. Tonight, I predict @BenYonattan steals your heart. #AGT” As Gossip Cop reported at the time, last Tuesday’s season premiere featured Lynch wowing with a stand-up routine despite a significant stutter. Watch Yonattan perform below, and tell us if Mandel’s prediction was right!
