Ben Stiller And Owen Wilson’s Zoolander 2 Characters Meet Backstage With Anna Wintour Before Valentino Show (VIDEO)
Before Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, as their Zoolander 2 characters, stepped out onto the Valentino runway during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, they met up backstage with Vogue editor Anna Wintour to discuss the walks they were going to do, and take a selfie with the legendary editor. See the video below.
When asked about his proposed walk, Stiller’s Zoolander told Wintour, “We’re going to keep it simple today. Usually I go right, left, right, left, right, left, but today, I’m going to start left in honor of how the sun rotates.” He explained to the editor, “My people wanted me to start right, but I said, ‘It’s 2012, it’s time for something different.’ They said, ‘It’s 2015.’ I said, ‘Agree to disagree.’ ’Cause it’s one of those things you can never really tell.”
Wintour then quizzed Wilson’s Hansel about the type of walk he was doing, and the blond model answered, “Environment. It’s the number one problem. And how do we reduce our footprint? Less walking. So today I’m going to hover… literally. And if that doesn’t work, I’m going to do an organic farm-to-table walk.” The Vogue editor seemed to be satisfied with those responses and then, with the help of a selfie stick, posed for a picture with Zoolander and Hansel.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Stiller and Wilson announced the upcoming Zoolander 2 film after walking in Tuesday’s Valentino show. The movie, written by Justin Theroux and slated to be directed by Stiller, is set to be released on February 12, 2016.
